FIXING STUFF AROUND

Are you of age? Are you mentally mature by now? Wait. Are you thinking what exactly I meant by “Mature”? So, let me rephrase for you. I am asking that when you leave your room is that messy? Is everything deplorable there? When you come back to your room after being worn out, do you try to put the things where they belong, or prefer mess over some physical movements to clean the room?

Have you ever experienced any vocation or calling, a voice from your inner, to take care of your own stuff? Have you ever done your laundry on Sunday because you might have a maid for the rest of the week days? If your answer is “YES, I PREFER MESS. YES, I DO NOT DO MY LAUNDRY.” I would suggest that you should clean your own room. Clean your own plate of food. Do your laundry on your own for once.

If you have tried doing it, are you hearing “I am more responsible and mature” from your inner? Are you feeling a good change in you? I know you would definitely be feeling different if your true self had said adios to your procrastination by scooping it out from you.

We have an automatic washing machine in our home. On Sunday, last week, it started giving some error for the first time. When it was somewhere in between the washing, it displayed “4E” on the screen. We are five siblings, a total of 7 people in the family including the parents. All of us are school/college/university going and both my mother and father are working. So, one day off, especially Sunday, from the laundry can become a bone of contention for all of us. We try to use it with a lesser number of clothes, but all in vain.

Condition Before

I called the Samsung Help Center to get some help. On getting connected to the right person and discussing the matter, I came to know that it would be exorbitant. They were charging 5000/- PKR for the traveling only, and there would be more depending on how bad the condition of the machine is. The worst part was that they refused to help over the phone call.

💡Suddenly, I came up with the idea of reading the text booklet that was given with the washing machine. It says the error type “4E” has to do with the “Filters”. I told this to my mother, and she said that she cleaned the filters on a weekly basis. It was getting on my nerves. I read the whole booklet and came to know that there are two filters in the machine. One in the front of the machine, of which we all were aware of, and one at the back that has its opening from inside.

Condition After

When I opened the filter, it was full of coins and clogged tissue papers that were basically blocking the exit of dirty water.

Clogged Tissue Papers and Coins

I cleaned the filter thoroughly. My mother was happy for the machine but happier for saving the money.

Victory✌
